Whether you are looking for history or romance, you’ll find it at the Daughters House Inn. The restored Hulse-Daughters House (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) was built in 1892 for David C. Hulse and purchased in 1899 by Judge Curtis Benjamin Daughters. This unique Richardsonian Shingle Style house was designed by Cornell trained architect, H. McCure Hadley, the first licensed architect in the state of Kansas.
Open year round, we feature three beautiful guest rooms with private baths. Working fireplaces in the parlour and dining room set the mood for relaxing evenings and cosy breakfasts. Our fully equipped commercial kitchen is at your service—we are proud of our delicious breakfast menu featuring local and organic ingredients.
